Quick Bill Pay (Fast, No Login Needed)
CenturyLink’s Quick Bill Pay is perfect when you need to make a payment fast without signing in. Just go to the Quick Bill Pay page, enter your CenturyLink account number or phone number on the account, and provide your payment information. Follow the prompts and your payment will process immediately. This method is handy if you don’t have access to your online account or just want to pay with minimal steps. (Note: Convenience fees may apply if you pay by credit/debit card.)
My CenturyLink Account (Online & Mobile App Payments)
If you have a CenturyLink account, you can pay your bill online or with the CenturyLink mobile app. Simply sign in to My CenturyLink on the web or in the app to view your statement and pay your bill. From your account you can pay one-time bills with a saved payment method, or quickly add a new bank or credit/debit card. You can also enroll in AutoPay or paperless billing through your account. After signing in, you can set up AutoPay so your bill is paid automatically each month. When paying online as a one-time transaction, using a bank account is free, while a credit or debit card incurs a $3.50 fee. If you save your payment info, future payments are even faster.
AutoPay (Automatic Monthly Payments)
AutoPay is the most convenient way to make sure you never miss a payment. When you sign up for AutoPay, CenturyLink will automatically charge your bank account or credit/debit card on the due date each month, at no additional fee. You can enroll in AutoPay through your online account or by calling CenturyLink customer service. Once AutoPay is set up, your bill will be paid on time every month without you having to do anything. (You can cancel or change AutoPay anytime in your account.)
Pay by Phone
You can also pay your bill over the phone. To pay via CenturyLink’s automated system, call the toll-free number for your area (for example, 800-201-4099 or 800-244-1111). Before you call, have your CenturyLink account number (or your phone number on the account) and a payment method ready. Follow the voice prompts in the automated system to enter your information and authorize payment; you’ll receive a confirmation code at the end of the call.
-
- Phone Numbers: Dial 800-201-4099 (for most CenturyLink customers) or 800-244-1111 (for other regions).
-
- Automated Payments: Enter your account number and payment info following the prompts.
-
- Confirmation: Your payment is processed immediately and you will get a confirmation number by the end of the call.
-
- Fees: There is a $3.50 convenience fee for one-time payments made with a credit or debit card (payments with a bank account are free). If you choose to speak with a live agent to make your payment, there is a $9.95 agent-assisted fee.
Pay by Mail
If you prefer, you can pay by mailing a check or money order. Use the payment slip that came with your bill and send it to CenturyLink (do not send cash). Be sure to allow enough time for mail delivery so your payment arrives by the due date. You can also pay quickly online if your payment is late or you need to catch up.
-
- Payment Method: Write CenturyLink account number on your check or money order.
-
- Envelope: Use the remittance envelope that came with your bill, or a plain envelope. Make sure to put the correct mailing address on the envelope.
-
- Include Slip: Include the remittance bill stub (if you have it) along with your payment.
-
- Mail To: Send your payment to:
CenturyLink PO Box 2961 Phoenix, AZ 85062-2961
Tip: Stamp and mail the envelope. If you’re worried about your payment arriving on time, pay online instead to avoid late fees.
Pay in Person
CenturyLink partners with CheckFreePay and Western Union to offer in-person payments, since CenturyLink itself does not have payment centers. You can use these partner locations to pay with cash, credit/debit card, check, or money order (many also accept bank account payments). This option can be helpful if you want to pay in cash or prefer to talk to someone.
-
- Find a Location: Go to the CheckFreePay or Western Union website to find an agent location near you.
-
- Payment Options: At most locations you can pay by cash, check, money order, or card. (Some locations accept bank account payments too.)
-
- Bring Your Bill: Take your latest CenturyLink bill with you; it has your account number and payment coupon, which speeds up the process.
-
- Call Ahead: We recommend calling the location before you go to confirm they still accept CenturyLink payments and to check their hours.
